Exporting Saved Data

This page describes how to export the scan data from the SCANNER application.

To export the saved data in the SCANNER application click the top left pancake menu icon to reveal the left sidebar menu.

Choose whether you want to export the single measurements (Data Storage) or the recorded multiple measurements (Recording Data Storage) by clicking on the menu items:

Exporting Single Measurements

To export single measurements click the Data Storage section. To select data to export hold down on a measurement row, such as the "plant" row shown below.

To select all of the measurements, choose the select all icon highlighted in red below:

To export, click the share icon highlighted below in red:

You will then be presented with the share menu. Choose the application to share the data to. Common examples include cloud synced file storage applications like Drive, Dropbox, etc.

Exporting Multiple Recorded Measurements

To export multiple measurements click the Recording Data Storage section. To export a measurement select the share icon highlighted in red below of that row of recorded data:

You will then be presented with the share menu. Choose the application to share the data to. Common examples include cloud synced file storage applications like Drive, Dropbox, etc.

Exporting Data With No Internet Connection

When you do not have an internet connection, or when you do not have an application that you can share the data to, you will need to export the data to a file browser application.

From the share menu select the "X-plore Copy to" option:

Then choose the location you want to save it:

Once the data is moved to your device's file system you can copy it to an external drive like a USB-C memory stick or memory card reader. You can also export directly to the external memory:
