Our MAPIR Camera Control (MCC) application processes Survey3 images to pixel values of percent reflectance. In addition to the images of calibration targets you also need to include a log from our light sensors.

The DAQ-M data is exported in .csv format, so it is easy to edit in any text editor or sheet program like Microsoft Excel. The most common data you may need to edit later is the File Name for each scan.

MCC supports any number of DAQ-M .csv logs in the input folder for the Process tab. MCC will match the timestamps of the light sensor data to the timestamps of the images.

Typically the camera image system/capture time will be set to the default time zone of GMT-0 (GPS timezone). The time zone of the DAQ-M is synced to the time of the mobile device you used. There will likely be a mismatch between the image timezone and the DAQ-M timezone, so that's why we have the setting in the Process tab menu "DAQ-M CSV Log Local UTC Timezone":

The setting window above shows the default value of -8 for the DAQ-M Timezone. This is for MAPIR's timezone, which is -8 (during PST) compared to GMT-0. You will need to look up your device's timezone offset and adjust accordingly.

Once the above timezone setting is made, include the .csv files from the DAQ-M in the input folder of your Process tab step and they will be used during processing.
